I believe that every person in this world have their own idol that inspired them throughout their life. This is so true for me. Deep down in my heart, I was so inspired with my idols determination, greatness, hardwork and courage. Everyday I keep telling myself that one day I will be big and grown up just like them; be acknowledge, be respected and be the survivor.
So, in this post I will list out my all-time idols that inspired me a lot in my life. Hopefully, in the future I can be just like them; inspired others and made history.
Kobe Bryant
His real name Kobe Bean Bryant is an American basketball player who plays shooting guard for the LA Lakers in NBA. He is considered one of the most complete players in the NBA has been selected to every All-NBA Team since 1999, and has been featured in the last twelve NBA All-Star games. Sports writers and sports casters have frequently compared Bryant to Michael Jordan. I will not talk too details about his career as there a lot information about him in the internet.
I love to watch his action and usually I will try out his movement at the basketball court (except for the dunking part because I can’t reach the hoop. LOL). Maybe this is one of the reasons why I’m so passionate about basketball.
It’s so obvious that he is my favorite idol where I use ‘Bryant’ as my nickname. Apart of loving to play basketball, the purpose of this name is to remind myself to never back down easily and be a self-motivator.
Jay Chou
He is a Taiwanese musician, singer, music and film producer, actor and director who is known for composing all his own songs and songs for other singers. His talent was discovered by Jacky Wu in a talent show where he displayed his piano and song-writing skill. Before being discovered he is just a waiter in a restaurant.
What he inspired me the most is his determination. He is so hardworking to write song even has to sleep in the studio. Anyway, all his hardwork does pay off. He rises to the fame, winning awards and become one of the most influential people in the world.
Another thing that I respect about Jay Chou is his musical style. He regularly fuses traditional Chinese instruments and styles with R&B or rock to form a new genre called "Zhongguo feng". His lyrics composing are totally undeniable. His usually cover diverse range of topics and idea; love, war and urbanization with his own image and personalities.
I usually will spend my time to listen to his song where the lyrics composition was perfect with the rhymes. my favourite are Qi Li Xiang, Fa Ru Xue and Qian Li Zhi Wai.
Rain(λΉ„)
Lastly, he is the Korean superstar; model, dancer, singer, actor and designer. Rain is very passion about his career. He totally gave the best out of himself. At the beginning of his life, he found it hard to be a model due to his face where he doesn’t have a double eyelid. He was only a backup dancer back then.
Anyway, all his hard work is pay off. Now, he is an international star with multiple awards, a bunch of movie and drama as the lead role. The most important is the world recognition. He is great. I do listen to his song such as Love Story, Hip Song, Love Song, Rainism and My Way(this song talk about his personal life).
I noticed all my idols actually don’t posses any superpower. They just like us; eat, sleep and with feeling. But they have something more than us. It’s their heart; stronger, tougher and buff. Passion is the extra force to ensure the victory.
Hopefully, everyone will be inspired to move on daily :)
